Berger was founded 1873 as a steel foundry and over the early years of the 20th century developed into a machine manufacturer, producing crushing machines, rubber preparation machines and other apparatus. Berger first began manufacturing blast machines in 1935 and even since delivered thousands of machines of various types mainly to the European market.

Today Berger is a well known brand for heavy duty machines applied in the foundry and forge industry as well as in the automotive sector for peening applications of springs, gear wheels and other elements.

Berger is highly reputable for the customized design of their systems and can offer special machine designs for all the application in the heavy duty industry sector. Continuous systems, as well as batch operated type machines have been delivered mostly to foundry, forge and hardening shops.
